A My HealthMatrix Initiative
Health Happens In Vegas
Health begins with the whole person, grows through the world around us, and becomes a citywide opportunity when we work together.
Free to join. No My HealthMatrix membership required. Individual experiences or services may have separate costs.
The Invitation
What if a healthier Las Vegas started with all of us?
We come to Las Vegas for experiences. We stay because this is home. And the quality of our everyday lives matters just as much as anything that happens on the Strip.
There are people and organizations all across our city doing things worth discovering. A new place to move. A better way to eat. A conversation that changes how you think. A community where you feel you belong.
Health Happens in Vegas brings those possibilities closer together—so more of us can find them, experience them, and help create what comes next.
If you live here
Find your next experience
Maybe you want more energy. More time outdoors. A place to make friends. Something new to do with your family. Or simply a better sense of what this city has to offer beyond your usual routine.
You shouldn't have to know the right person or search a dozen places to find a good opportunity. Join the free community to hear about selected local experiences, gatherings, resources, and offers. Follow what interests you. Try what fits your life.
Join FreeIf you have a business or lead an organization
Let people experience what you offer
You have something to offer this city. Let people experience it—not just read an advertisement about it. Share a workshop, an activity, a practical resource, an introduction to your work, or a clearly explained community offer.
Selected contributions may be featured on this website, in community updates, or through relevant collaborations. You do not have to work in healthcare. Food, culture, education, recreation, financial wellbeing, neighborhoods, and civic life all have a place here.
Apply to ParticipateParticipation and promotional opportunities are reviewed individually and are not guaranteed.
Discover. Experience. Connect.
Start with one thing
You don't have to change your whole life to make it better.
Discover
Find people, places, ideas, and resources you may not have known were here. Sometimes the first step toward a better life is seeing a possibility you hadn't considered.
Experience
Try something. Join a walk or a workshop. Learn a useful skill. Explore a new activity. An experience makes an idea real.
Connect
Get to know your neighbors and the people behind local organizations. Find common interests. Build friendships and collaborations that make a city feel more like a community.
The Larger Ecosystem
Determinants Of Health
Health happens where life happens. Think about what makes a good day possible. It might be a medical appointment, but it might also be a safe place to live, a job that supports your family, a friend to call, a nearby park, or the chance to learn something new. That is why we look beyond healthcare.
Healthcare & Prevention
Access to care, screening, prevention, and practical health guidance.

Safety, Equity & Community Infrastructure
Safety, inclusion, accessibility, services, and community support.
No one person, business, or organization can address every dimension. That is the point. Better lives are built through many contributions, large and small.
Why I Started This
A note from Dr. Tim Patel
For much of my life as a physician, I've been asking a simple question: What does it really take to help someone live a healthier, better life? Medical care matters enormously. But health is not created by medical care alone. We need strength and movement, good nutrition, recovery, sound guidance, useful technology, and people who encourage us. These are not separate pieces of life. They work together.
That belief led me to create My HealthMatrix—a complete wellness ecosystem that brings medicine, movement, recovery, smart technologies, and community together to help people optimize their health, performance, and quality of life.
And then I came to an even bigger realization. No matter how complete a wellness center becomes, people spend most of their lives outside it. We live in another ecosystem—one that includes our families and friendships, the food we can access, our workplaces, neighborhoods, schools, finances, parks, culture, and opportunities. It shapes how we live, what choices are available to us, and how well we can sustain our health.
That larger ecosystem cannot be created by a clinic. Or a hospital. Or a gym. Or any one organization. It takes a community. So Health Happens in Vegas is the next step in that thinking: taking the idea of a complete health ecosystem beyond the walls of My HealthMatrix and into the city we share.
Las Vegas has shown the world what can happen when imagination, talent, ambition, and people come together to create extraordinary experiences. What if we applied some of that same energy to the everyday health and quality of life of the people who call this place home? That, to me, is the next evolution of Vegas.
I hope you'll be part of it.

Common Questions
What you need to know
Is joining free?

Do I need to be a My HealthMatrix member?
No. This is a My HealthMatrix-led community initiative, open to people who want to participate.
Is this a directory of all local businesses?
No. We share selected, reviewed contributions—not every provider in the city.
Does a featured organization have medical endorsement?
No. Participation or a feature is not a clinical recommendation, medical approval, or guarantee of results.

Yes. Health and quality of life are shaped by food, work, housing, culture, recreation, education, social connection, and much more.
Be part of the next evolution of Vegas
We know how to bring the world to Las Vegas for extraordinary experiences. Now imagine what we can do when we bring more of our own people, ideas, businesses, and organizations together to make everyday life here healthier, richer, and more connected.
A better life does not happen in one place. And the next chapter of our city will not be written by one organization. It starts with all of us.
